This is extremely important in illustrating the necessity of our collective awakening as opposed to the good old way of following leaders in bringing about the real social change. It describes Noam Chomsky's position as a gatekeeper of the real social change, a protector of the status quo, an ideal controlled opposition figure. This is highly recommended to anyone including the people who are familiar with the concept of the controlled opposition and Chomsky's controversial positions on the key issues such as JFK assassination, 9/11, the Federal Reserve Bank and so on.
We as "the people" do not have to agree on everything. But there are important issues which can shape the course of our lives, which enable the powerful few to protect the status quo, with their associating inhumane schemes.
Today, we do have a wealth of information implicating the US government agencies in the assassinations of various historical figures including JFK. We do have a towering evidences indicating that there are huge amount of cover-ups regarding the 9/11 incident which brought us the Patriot Act, series of wars in the Middle East, Africa, the security state, the militarized police, the global surveillance, the drone wars and the covert operations across the globe. Lastly, the root of our debt slave society is the private centralized banking system controlled by the mega bankers who dominate in and out of our governments with the influential positions and the enormous financial power. It is delusional to think that the Federal Reserve has been acting according to the interests of "the people". A person who systematically allows those pillars of the corporate domination to stand
is an important figure in preventing the real change for the humanity.

Right. The current system forces us to endure an enormous amount of waste through wars, planned obsolescence, gentrification, consumerism, pro-corporate healthcare, factory style education, neo-colonial policies and etc. The hidden costs we pay are unimaginably high. It's hardly a system based on what we need. It's really not much to do with the wisdom of humanity.
